Chief Executive Officer
Prior to leading ILiAD Technologies, Sam was Chief Commercial Officer at EnergySource Minerals having previously been a member of its Board. Sam has over 25 years of experience from the energy sector overseeing investment in capital projects and M&A.
Dr. Charles Marston, President of Marston Hydro-Met and inventor of ILiAD, has been exclusively engaged with EnergySource Minerals since 2016 with a keen focus on the development of a continuous adsorption/desorption process for separation of lithium from the Hudson Ranch Power 1 Salton Sea Geothermal Brine Resource. Dr. Marston has 35 years of specialty ion exchange experience and served as “Global Application Development Leader” at Dow Water & Process Solutions and was responsible for Dow’s technical strategy in mining hydrometallurgy, IX chemical processing and IX catalysis. He is highly skilled in hydrometallurgical separations, particularly via continuous processing techniques and is the primary inventor on more than a dozen active hydrometallurgical patents.

Aaron Poon has over 17 years of experience providing technology and commercial equipment solutions in Oil & Gas, Mining, Power, and Chemical industries. Prior to ILiAD Technologies, Aaron worked as a process engineer and technology developer for Veolia Water Technologies with a focus in produced water treatment, and heavy industry brines/waters. His experience and industry know-how has helped drive ILiAD from pilot and technology development into a full commercial offering that meets engineering and heavy industry practices.

Tara Hackler has over a 15 years of experience as in-house counsel to companies in the environmental technology and environmental services sectors. Experience includes extensive negotiation of public and private bids and contracts for waste & water treatment projects across various industry applications and geographies as well as of commercial agreements generally, safeguarding of intellectual property and licensing rights, shepherding matters through dispute resolution and litigation, providing regulatory advisement, and effecting real estate and strategic transactions.

Santiago Gilligan has over 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, petroleum engineering, business and project development. More than 5 years of experience in the lithium mining industry with focus in Argentina resources development.
Esteban Soto
Commercial Director
Esteban Soto has more than a decade of experience across the lithium, oil and gas, and nuclear sectors in commercial, executive, and operational roles. Earlier in his career, Esteban also led field engineering, installation, and commissioning activities across industrial plants in Europe, North and South America, including projects to optimize lithium carbonate production from plants in Northern Chile.

Daniel Hernandez has over 20 years of experience leading complex, high-value projects in a variety of industries including aerospace, oil & gas, mining, chemical, and consumer electronics. Daniel is PMP certified and skilled in managing full project lifecycles from concept to execution, delivering results across diverse technical and commercial environments. Currently driving operational excellence in the lithium extraction sector, coordinating a global supplier network to de-risk customer projects, ensure supply chain resilience, and deliver a seamless customer experience in challenging, lithium-rich regions.
